On October 12, 2016 STATE REPRESENTATIVE JOHN J. TAYLOR accompanied Deer Meadows Home Health and Support Services, LLC staff on an in home visit in Northeast Philadelphia.
Following the home visit STATE REPRESENTATIVE JOHN J. TAYLOR visited Deer Meadows Home Health and Support Services, LLC (DMHHSS) to learn about our 5 Star CMS Home Health Compare rated agency and to take a tour of our office.
We then went to our conference room to discuss home health care, changes in managed Long Term Support Services, (MLTSS), and the future of home health care in the State of PA. John J. Taylor is a member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from the 177th Legislative District of Pennsylvania, United States, since 1984.
State Representative John J. Taylor, on October 12, 2016 accompanied Deer Meadows Home Health and Support Services, LLC (DMHHSS) staff on an in home visit in Northeast Philadelphia. We went to visit DMHHSS patient, Robert Spear, who is a proud Korean War Veteran, in his home to observe a skilled nurse home visit.
Present in Robert’s home for visit were: Stanley Rynkiewicz, RN, MSN, WCC, DWC, CCS, NHA Administrator DMHHSS, PA State Representative John J. Taylor, Irene Dudley, DMHHSS Clinical Director, and Carryann Myers-Wasylkiw, DMHHSS Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). PA State Representative John J. Taylor spent an hour with us on the home visit learning about Robert and the home health care services he receives from DMHHSS which is a 5 Star rated agency on CMS’s Home Health Compare Website.
Robert received skilled nursing services for skilled assessment, education on disease processes and medications to assist him to remain at home decreasing unnecessary emergency room visits and hospitalizations. This visit went a long way to share with our lawmakers the types of services that DMHHSS provides in our community.
